Le Touessrok is a regular on the ‘world’s best hotels’ list and is beloved by high-class travel magazines. The resort is set on a beautiful stretch of white-sand coastline overlooking the tranquil Trou d’Eau Douce bay.
Rooms flank a pristine sandy bay or nestle on diminutive Frangipani Island linked to the mainland by a covered wooden bridge, several sandy inlets can become your private beach for the day and just offshore you’ll be able to explore the resort’s two islands – Ile aux Cerfs, with its championship golf course designed by Bernard Langer, and Ilot Mangénie, an island retreat exclusive to guests.

The living areas are light and relaxed, with high, vaulted wood ceilings, tall windows and terrace doors that lead out to the infinity pool and wonderful tropical vistas. Each villa has two master king bedrooms, with a third queen bedroom behind. Bathrooms have sculptural stone bathtubs and lead out to private walled gardens with outdoor waterfall showers and daybeds.
There is the very latest technology in-room multimedia entertainment systems, satellite television, DVD/CD player, internet/email access, hair dryer, mini bar, 24-hour room service, safe and in-room business services (multi-adaptor, fax/computer hook-up, modem, phone-jack and three-phone, two-line communication system).
The villas are prepared to the personal preferences of guests. Each has its own personal manager, on call 24 hours a day, who arranges special services, such as excursions, private dining and spa treatments.

The Givenchy Spa, one of a select few around the world, reflects Givenchy’s famously elegant and understated style. The range of treatments at this spa include: facials, body treatments, massages, body wraps and a beauty parlour. The Swisscare products by Group LVMH Laboratories have been developed specifically for Givenchy.
Le Touessrok Golf Course is across the water from the resort mainland on its own beautiful island, Ile aux Cerfs. The 18 hole, par 72 championship course was designed to challenge advanced players, while remaining exciting and playable for recreational golfers. The course covers 38 hectares and is the longest in Mauritius, with the holes snaking up and down the length of the island.
Dining meets performance art at the hotel’s main restaurant, Three-Nine-Eight, which is designed around no fewer than eight open kitchens where you can see your food being prepared. The menu features nine different cuisines – Mauritian, Indian, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Spanish, Italian and French. Three-Nine-Eight includes a rotisserie & grill, a salad bar, an Asian noodle & wok workshop, a bakery and pastry shop, a coffee & tea bar, as well as a Mediterranean section with pasta boilers and an antipasti stall.
Barlen’s – The restaurant offers a range of dishes, based on a fusion of Asian and European cuisine. Lunch and dinner revolve around a unique open kitchen featuring a glass-encased sushi counter, and a Japanese Robata grill alongside a European volcanic-rock grill.
Safran – Overlooking Hibiscus Bay, this elegant and contemporary restaurant serves highly sophisticated and timeless Indian recipes prepared with Continental methods. The modern interpretations of classical Indian cuisine are conceived by the chef, Ramesh Bundi.
Kids & Teens:
For all children from 4-11 years Le Touessrok has its marvellous ‘T-Club’. Children can enjoy golf, tennis, windsurfing and swimming clinics. There are also excursions with a focus on educational enrichment. Babysitters – available at extra charge – are required for children of 2 and 3 years at the ‘T-Club’, unless accompanied by a parent.
There is also a special teen’s club, which is free to 12-17 year-olds. Youngsters can meet new friends from around the world in a safe and interesting environment and enjoy activities including sports, excursions, outings, discos and theme evenings.
Weddings & Honeymoon:
Dedicated Wedding and Events Consultant are at hand to handle every small detail while helping to bring the right themes to create that once-in-a-lifetime experience. Private rooms are perfectly prepared for couples or larger parties – a most romantic dinner for two or a wedding feast for a hundred.
The Tennis Club has four floodlit courts. The resort also has a jogging track and offers bocciball, volleyball, aqua-gym lessons, archery, badminton and football. The fitness centre provides sophisticated personal training, stretching sessions, programmes for swimming, aquatic exercise, tennis and golf.
Complimentary Facilities include canoes, kayaks, laser sailing dinghies, sailing boats, pedal boats, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling, unlimited water-skiing and windsurfing.
Non-complimentary Facilities include Scuba diving (PADI and CMAS), deep-sea fishing, parasailing, banana and tube rides, catamaran sailing and canoeing.
