Situated at Bel Ombre, in the southwest of Mauritius, Tamassa is a spacious 4-star hotel that sets out to provide a contemporary setting for a young clientele that likes to be different. All the rooms, housed in a set of villas, face the sea. They are arranged in three arcs, two around large swimming pools with a beach and the third on the seafront. All the common areas, on the other hand, are grouped together in village style, with a view of the sea to one side and on the other sugarcane fields running all the way to the foothills of the mountains.

Restaurants & Bars:
Sharing and discovery are the key words of the Horizon restaurant. Cooking that blends flavours and tastes. A pure sensation of discovery made through thematic evenings, ‘à la carte’ dinners and other events. Obergine has perfumed cuisine using authentic Mediterranean ingredients. Olive oil, basil and other aromatic herbs, naturally perfumed and tasty grills compose the menu. A simple, healthy kitchen situated in the open air, in a relaxed environment by the beach. Underneath the shadow of a large veranda near to the beach, the Nautile allows for moment of relaxation around a Mauritian meal or just a snack. The set up and the wooden decoration, open to the light breeze, create a relaxed and soft atmosphere for informal moments in between two activities. And the 3 metre long aquarium offers guests a spectacular contemplation of our tropical marine fauna, extending thus this proximity with the sea. At night, The Nautile transforms into cocktail bar where music is offered most nights. Nipa, four letters as simple as the cuisine of this restaurant; fine and varied. Nipa is a place for prestige. Weddings & Honeymoons:
Honeymooners are given a special welcome at Les Pavillons. Weddings, conducted by a Civil Official, can be organised in wonderful tropical surroundings, in the gardens or on the beach itself. The island is the perfect, romantic setting for a wedding. After a photo session, there is a special aperitif at the Bar, followed by a romantic candlelit dinner, either on the beach itself, at a special table in the restaurant or on your own terrace or balcony. On wedding days, the hotel offers a wedding cake and a special menu, as well as a bottle of bubbly. The next morning, there is a special wedding breakfast on your own terrace.
A new Kids club, Twinkle, created for children aged between 3 to 12 years old. It allows children of any age to enjoy their holidays. A team specially trained to assist and ensure that children have fun and great moments.
The Teens club, meeting point of adolescents, Open 9a.m. to 10p.m. Arranges various activities for teenagers, including excursions outside the hotel. The club operates during school holidays.
Conference Room (55 m²) Les Pavillons is equipped with an air-conditioned conference room, seating 40 theatre-style or 20 classroom- style. The use of the conference room is complementary for all groups staying at the hotel. Equipment Audiovisual equipment is provided. It includes a 35mm slide projector, an overhead projector, multi-system video equipment, a PA system, flip charts, a lectern and a wall screen (2.1m x 1.5m). A video projector can be provided if requested in advance. Additional equipment and services can be provided on request, for a fee. Les Pavillons can also provide secretarial, photocopying, fax, Internet and e-mail services.
Water Sports Free of Charge: windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks, sailing, snorkeling, glass-bottom trips and water-skiing. Yoga, Tai Chi, meditation For a Fee: bicycle hire. Swimming Pools4 wonderful swimming pools, the main pool has a special children’s section. The main pools located in the centre of the resort, with two further pools located to the North and South sides, ensuring you are never too far from the poolside. The North side pool meanders through the gardens, whilst the south side infinity pool seems to merge into the ocean beyond. The fourth pool is located in the Spa.
